HAND IN GLOVE
Designs are imagined, drafted, and eventually defined with the help of a prototypist.
This is a very long process involving creativity, practicality, and a lot of problem solving!
Inspirational images are selected supporting the design(s) and are uploaded to a digital collage.
Through this lengthy process a virtual mood board comes to life.
A strong palette is critical and involves an intensive editing process.
House colors, established over the years, are always the basis of each seasonal palette as these have become part of the brands’ identity.
Samples sourced biannually at the Lineappelle leather fair in Milan are brought to the table. A new color or two is added, a strong neutral always present, and a metallic added for shine. Its akin to creating a song, or a perfume - there are innumerous elements and options in play but when the right ones all come together to form a tangible it’s POW! Done.
Materials are ordered, global orders are placed for shop, OL and distribution.
The three month process of production begins and every detail is carefully overseen by our well trained craftsmen.
Several new models will be revealed this S/S season as they make their way from production to our Paris shop shelves.
Our conceptual designs remain ele(gant) yet distinctively different - and always with a hint of irony.
It may not feel like Spring is on the way in many parts of the world, but rest assured that long days and lazy evenings, sunburns and cool cocktails are just around the corner…
Keeping it remarkably simple yet simply remarkable.
